Not quite. I certainly have more pressing things to pray for than that. But I did get quite a bit of satisfaction out of reading this column today:

We can probably guess that combatting global warming would be a ball and chain on the world economy. The proposed methods of reducing man made climate change would directly increase the cost of energy in all forms. When you increase the cost of energy, you place great strain on the world economy. Look at the fallout from last summer's gas price. It did a world of damage.
Man induced global warming is a hoax, and worse, the methods proposed to address it will take us all down fast. Pray for global warming? I pray that global leaders will see the truth about it before it is too late.

Of course, I'm grateful for advances in the medical field and pray for more of them, but outside of that I sometimes think that human beings have more technology than they know what to do with. All of our scientific 'knowledge' only leads us to argue with one another. For the record, I agree that global warming is a hoax. Not that my opinion will likely make any difference.
The leaders won't stop, because this is a "hot" topic. The simple truth is that Greenland was inhabitable 1000 years ago. Were there lots of cars and stuff then?
