Ten years ago today we became parents! It happened 9,700 miles away from home, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on account of a beautiful, bright-eyed and curious infant boy who is growing up to be a fine young gentleman. Today, we celebrated by going out for ice cream. Afterwards, he played both the piano and the violin for our listening pleasure. We cannot believe how blessed we have been all these years!
The moment Chips was first handed to me.

Happy Adoption Day! We sure enjoyed meeting Chips here in Colby--He's a great young man!

Oh, what a beautiful baby! I'm stunned that he's not showing a shock of hair, however! All of you are so lucky to have found each other. My youngest is almost exactly 1 year older than your fine lad. It's so much fun to watch them grow up!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my VERY SIMILAR post. We sure are blessed, aren't we? I knew Chips played the violin, but I didn't know he also played the piano. We have 2 similar kids, I believe. And the statue your daughter is holding (the bust) in her picture in your sidebar - Gracie's piano teacher starting giving those out at recital this past spring!

So glad we made the connection!

That's a wonderful anniversary. Your fine young man is obviously a tribute to your parenting.

I know I'm a bit late, but I wanted to wish you as many blessings through your wonderful son in the next ten years as in the past ten!
