Boy it sure is difficult to concentrate on our lessons when there have been three tornado warnings and two severe thunderstorm warnings for our part of the county since we began. Going to our “safe room” has proven to be a little bit too much fun…
And when we are able to come out, it is entertaining to see whether we can multitask …… read geography and hula hoop at the same time…..
… Or maybe read geography, hula hoop, and talk on the phone at the same time?
It’s a good thing he isn’t getting a driver’s license any time soon!
(p.s. It is difficult to post this today, since our internet service is intermittent all day long… )

Nothing like a little distraction during school, is there? We've been on the lookout for the "blizzard" that's coming our way all day. Never mind that it's 40 out. And nevermind that Mom is testy when people say the nasty "s" word after March 15. Kids in school told Ryan we were expecting 6" to 8" Thursday night, and little brother is on the lookout!
We had the same issue here today. Last night we were in our safe room a couple of times. Lost power for a few hours. Today no power loss but boy none of us could talk our eyes and ears off the weather map. Very active, glad to see you guys are ok. No damage here and tomorrow we are thinking about venturing out we just are not sure were yet.
