The family over at A Slice of America inspired us to make a banner to fit our vacation trip for next month. We have titled our trip the Glory of God's Creation Tour, and today, during a rainy Saturday afternoon, we worked together on the banner for our trip. Here it is:
The design was formulated inside the heads of Chips and Sweet Girl, but I helped with its preparation in order to complete the banner within their attention span. And yes, on the shield is our dark blue van heading up into some really high mountains. I'd say this is a sure sign that we are ready to go. What do you think?

I just read your schedule and it sounds like lots of fun! Just a note: At gas stops ask about road closures because of flooding....there had been flooding in the Nebraska/SD/Iowa area when we were going through. And I know recently there was some flooding south of Sioux Falls and Iowa/south east SD has been having lots of rain in the past few weeks.
Also, You may want to ck about road closings in Yellowstone. When we were there the road from Madison Junction to Mammoth Springs had closings for some periods of time. And there were lots of buffalo along most roads which meant everyone stops and takes pictures which really adds time between areas. You may want to build that into your schedule.
I love it! It's perfect. Display it proudly my friend!!
