In memory of our beloved mom and “Mimi”, Mrs. Dorothy J. Lyford, mercifully ushered into eternity with Christ on September 7, 2011.
Jesus said ... "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."

So sorry to hear about your loss. Praying for your family. May God be very near to you.
I am so sorry for the loss of your children's beloved grandmother, and your wonderful husband's dear mother. My loss is different, but I understand your pain. And I appreciate your mention of our Thor in your previous post.
It will be a little hard to go on vacation this year, with this loss so very recent, but it will help the children to have a change of scenery. How wonderful for you all that they have seen her recently and have nice memories and pictures.
My prayers are with all of you, Dear B.
I'm so, so sorry! I felt the same way about my kids being too young last year when my dad passed away. My youngest was 11.
I am so very sorry.
And something else... I agree. Your children are way too young to not have a grandma! My mother's parents both died in a car accident when my mom was 15 and I've always been so sad that I only had one set of grandparents. My husband's father died when I was pregnant with our third child. It's so sad.
I tried to send you an email but I must have an out of date address. Just to say I'm thinking of you all.
Sending my condolences to your family. Hugs and prayers.
Your September 6 post was so poignant! How wonderful that B had such a great conversation with his mom on his birthday and that she was so happy and in a good place in her life. She was so interested in her family and especially her grandchildren. It doesn't make her loss easy, but knowing that B's impression was of her being better than ever, must provide some peace. God always has a way of providing comfort and closure in mysterious and wonderful ways. That birthday phone call seems divine! Our prayers and thoughts are with your family in this unexpected time of grief.
Oh Bernadette, I am so sorry. I didn't know that she had passed away until today. You guys have been in our prayers for comfort during this difficult time. We know how hard it is to lose a grandparent (and in your husband's case a parent). We will continue to pray. We are so sorry for your loss. May God be with you all during this time. IN His Love,
Diane (for us all)
I'm still thinking of you all. I hope you find small comfort in my continued good wishes and condolences.
