We are a family of 4 plus two sweet parakeets. We have 2 children, a son (born in 2000) and daughter (born in 2003). We have always home-educated and now our son is embarking on the next step in life - the Air Force Academy. We live in the country on 5 acres, we love to RV when we can, our kids study violin and have participated in youth orchestra, CAP, and varsity tennis. Welcome to our blog.
Spent a leisurely afternoon exploring Forsyth KOA, Forsyth, Georgia.

We took a long camping trip this summer, from NY (our home state) to Yellowstone in WY...over 7400 miles. We had a terrific time. I was not ready to have it end. I'll be following your journey...one photo at a time.
I can see I'm going to learn a lot from your trip. I just looked up Forsyth, and was astounded at all the history and attractions there are round about.
But what is a KOA - is it some sort of campground franchise?
How would you rate this KOA? My daughter is starting to plan our next trip 2 or 3 years out across the southern part of US up to Wahington DC. She is looking for some nice KOAs along the way.
